Formative

Formative is a roleplaying game for three-to-four adult players.  It is a game about exploring sex and intimacy, establishing safe spaces, and coping with unexpected change—all in relationships of mutual caring. We will each play a character who has been in the process of undergoing a dramatic physical transformation, and our characters will help each other explore their new bodies, face the challenges of a world that doesn’t accept them, and grow into their images of themselves.

To play Formative all we'll need is a deck of standard playing cards and this booklet.

The game is offered pay-what-you-can, in the spirit of queer community and mutual support. I hope that you can help me pay for my day-to-day expenses but I also recognize that a lot of us are poor and want you to be able to play Formative regardless of whether you can afford to pay for it.
